Hi, We are the CCCUA HEARTBEATS!
The Medical EducationDepartment at Cossatot Community College of the University of Arkansas is dedicated to the health and wellness of our community and they surrounding areas. Each year we participate in several worthwihile events that promote just that since we discovered the Red River Valley Down Syndrome Society last year it has proven to be an extraordinary organization whose mission and goals follow exactly what we are committed to teaching our new nurses. We are thrilled at the opportunity to take part in this life changing event.

About the Red River Valley Down Syndrome Society & our Annual Step Up Walk:
The Red River Valley Down Syndrome Society is a 501c3 nonprofit parent-based support organization whose mission is to improve and enrich the lives of individuals with Down syndrome and their families through support, education & awareness. The Step Up Walk is a vehicle in which we can promote the possibilities that exist in each person with Down syndrome.
